Tenormin tablets contain atenolol in it which is a beta-blocker. Beta-blockers are class of medications that are
meant for reducing blood pressure. They act by blocking the effect of natural hormone in the body i.e.
epinephrine/adrenaline. Therefore, Tenormin tablets are used for effectively treating conditions like hypertension
(high blood pressure), arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), & angina (heart-related chest pain). It is also indicated in
prevention of future heart attacks, strokes & migraines.
