Soften syrup contains Loratadine in it which is antihistamine. Antihistamines are medicines that act as anti-allergic as they reduce natural chemical substance in body called histamine which is involved in initiating allergic reaction. This syrup is indicated for treating temporary symptoms of seasonal allergies like watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing; and for urticaria symptoms like hives, skin rashes, & bumps.

How To Use

It is administered through oral route i.e. by mouth

The usual dose for adults is 10 mg per day i.e. 2 teaspoonfuls, & for children is 5 mg i.e. 1 teaspoonful once daily.

Can be used in children only above 2 years.

In case a dose is missed, then take it as soon as you remember on the same day. However, if next day has arrived, then take only that day’s dose and do not double it.
