Introduction

Remethan tablet contains Diclofenac Sodium 50mg in it which is an analgesic that reduces formation of substances causing pain & swelling

Belongs to category of “NSAIDs” which are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

It is orally administered via mouth

In adults per day dose is 100 to 200 mg.

It is helpful in treatment of pain, swelling (inflammation) & joint stiffness caused during arthritis.

Indicated in rheumatoid arthritis (joint pain), osteoarthritis (joint pain), ankylosing spondylitis (pain & stiffness in spine), migraine & dysmenorrhea (painful periods).

Effect is observed after 10 to 30 minutes of administering Remethan.

Avoid its use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Remethan or you have history of allergy with NSAIDs.

How To Use

For oral administration i.e. via mouth

Medicine can be taken with or after food

In children below 18 years, its use is not recommended

Its effect is observed within 10 to 30 minutes of consumption and lasts for 1 to 2 hours.

Also, complete full prescribed course of therapy of this medication, even if you see symptoms subsiding.

It is not helpful for use in pain that occurs before or after heart bypass surgery

It should be stored at 15 to 30 degree-C away from moisture and light.
