Description

Prozac is indicated for treating depression and other mental health conditions like obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) & panic disorder. It helps enhance mood, reduces anxiety & tension, and helps in sleeping better.

Prozac capsule contains fluoxetine, which belongs to SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) class of antidepressants. SSRIs work by increasing serotonin (happy hormone) levels in the brain.

Storage

Store the medicine at room temperature. Keep it away from the source of heat or direct sunlight.

Precautions

Inform doctor of all medicines whether over the counter (like vitamins or herbal supplements etc.) or prescription medicines like tramadol, diuretics, amoxapine, & bromocriptine etc., that you may be taking as they can interact with Flux and produce serious side effects.

Inform doctor of all pre-existing disease conditions or health issues that you may be suffering from like liver problem, kidney disease, immune system disorders, lupus (autoimmune disorder), glaucoma (eye disorder), diabetes, seizure disorders, etc., before using Flux.

It can make you dizzy, lightheaded or faint when getting out of bed, so do not drive or perform other high-alert activities

Alcohol use with flux is unsafe so avoid alcohol consumption.

Do not stop using Flux without consulting doctor/pharmacist, as it can produce withdrawal symptoms.

When not to use

Not recommended for use if you are allergic to fluoxetine or any other ingredient present in Flux capsule

Use of Flux in pregnant females and breastfeeding mothers can be unsafe therefore, consult doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.
