Introduction

Covy syrup contains Ivy leaf, thyme, licorice, and vasika. These are cough drops which act as a bronchodilator, cough suppressant, expectorant, mucolytic, and spasmolytic agent. This cough syrup provides relief in case of chest congestion, soothes the mucus membrane of bronchial walls, and hence restore normal breathing. It also acts as an antitussive and has a soothing effect on the throat.
